About Us
About I Love Libraries
I Love Libraries, an initiative of the American Library Association, celebrates libraries everywhere. We promote the value of libraries and librarians, explain key issues affecting libraries, advocate for the freedom of information and the right to read, and urge readers everywhere to support and take action for their libraries.
I Love Libraries is a place to learn more about the health and vitality of today’s libraries; emerging trends; and current issues affecting public, school, academic, corporate, and institutional libraries around the United States and the world.

The Association has more than 55,000 members and provides leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services.
About ALA's Library Champions
I Love Libraries is supported by the American Library Association’s Library Champions, corporate and foundation supporters who fund advocacy and awareness initiatives for libraries and the library profession. We consider Library Champions to be among our greatest proponents.
