Ready to hit the road to explore a career in librarianship, see how libraries shape communities … and be on TV, too? Roadtrip Nation wants to hear from you.
This September, Roadtrip Nation—with help from the Carnegie Corporation of New York and Strada Education Foundation—is sending three people across the United States in a bright, green RV to meet librarians, community leaders, and innovators who’ve built fulfilling careers helping others access knowledge and opportunity. Along the way, the selected Roadtrippers will gain real-world insights, career inspiration, and invaluable mentorship—all while being filmed for the Roadtrip Nation public television documentary series.
Roadtrip Nation will cover all travel and related costs, provide a generous stipend for personal expenses, and connect participants with six months of free career coaching after the experience.
If you know someone who might benefit from this incredible opportunity, please share this with them. Applications are open until May 25, 2025. Apply here: http://rtn.is/library-app
