For Our Libraries. For All of Us.

For Our Libraries.

For All of Us.

Libraries are cornerstones of our communities—places where people discover, learn, and connect.  They protect the freedom to read, provide access to books, technology, and education, and ensure that everyone—regardless of background—has the tools to succeed. But right now, our libraries are under attack—from book bans to funding cuts—and their future depends on us.
Since 1876, the American Library Association has fought for our libraries and the communities they serve, ensuring that everyone—regardless of background—has access to knowledge, books, and technology. But we can’t do it alone.
