Ghosts, monsters, and other ghouls are the usual scare suspects come Halloween time, but this year there are other horrors inflicting fear and terror upon the United States—books bans being one of them.

Clothing company Online Ceramics understands this. They’ve partnered with Penguin Random House (PRH) on a series of shirts, hats, and more that truly capture how we’re all feeling about book bans right now.

And the best part? PRH and Online Ceramics are donating 100% of the net proceeds from the sales of these select items to the American Library Association to help us in our fight against book bans and to help librarians across the country. They also offering the collection at 20% off to all educators and librarians.

Head over to Online Ceramics online to grab some “Banning Books? Now That’s Scary” shirts and hats and more banned books-related gear before it’s too late. (Sadly, the hat that RM from BTS proudly sported during Banned Books Week this year is sold out.)

How you can support libraries

With library funding being gutted and censorship on the rise, supporting libraries is more critical than ever. If you’re looking for a way to help, we urge you to become a Supporter of the American Library Association by donating.

At the American Library Association, we are here to protect libraries — today and for generations to come. What does your donation do? It helps a neighbor gain skills to start a business. It helps a child discover themselves through books and programs. And it helps keep libraries strong, open, and free for everyone.
